I make work to escape and invite others to join me on that journey. The pieces I create are made of a variety of clays, depending on what work space I have available as well as textiles.
My work has a sense of time- by using contemporary clothing or accessories alongside naturalistic flora and fauna. The viewer can feel for when things might have been made yet there is a strangeness about the pieces that makes them pause. That pause is a place I want people to keep coming back to.
